Margaret Harrrion’s debut show was also regarded as the first solo-feminist-art show in London. Her works combined women’s bodies in the form of illustrated recipes which resulted in the show being closed down by police for being “too pornographic”. Her commentary on the objectifications of women evolved to a focus on politics and advocating for equal pay.
